'Rock the Kitschbar' started as an idea back in February 2004 after finding it hard to lay our hands on really funny and original fancy dress away from the usual 'cowboy', 'nurse' or 'spiderman'.  We also found it impossible to find really kooky, kitsch products for birthday gifts...soon after, 'Rock the Kitschbar' was born.

We have always had a real passion for all things 'different', having got our first purple punk rocker mullet wig's aged 9...our lifelong love of Kitsch had begun!

Our own homes our an Aladdins Cave of kitsch which includes a life-size cardboard cut-out of the 'King of Kitsch' himself - 'Liberace', pink flamingos, mannequins, wigs, props and plastic pineapples...not forgetting a beloved 1974 Fiat 500!

As you can no doubt tell, we love festivals...it's really great when we bump in to people who have shopped at the Kitschbar and are enjoying using my products...to know that, even in a small way, if we have helped make their festival experience even better then it's made the trials and tribulations of setting up the store worthwhile - hopefully we'll get to meet even more of you this year!!!
